Annie Lockwood is a multi-hyphenate with a passion for story, pop culture, and comedy. Hailing from Atlanta and currently residing in Brooklyn, she started her trek through the entertainment industry by working as a PA, then graduated to working in casting, talent representation, wardrobe styling, and making her way to producing and writing.
With a passion for comedy, Annie started writing and performing stand up all over the southeast for nearly ten years. She gained a solid reputation for premiere hosting and producing live stand up comedy shows. Annie’s bi-monthly comedy show, “8-Bit Comedy” was named “One of the Coolest Things to Discover in Atlanta” By Rolling Stone.
Merging her passion for comedy writing and film/tv production, Annie has worked on an array of tv shows like writing for WWE’s Monday Night Raw, or story producing for shows on Netflix, Bravo, and Investigation Discovery.
A tenacious drive and strong work ethic make her the ideal fit for any situation that requires thinking on the fly, and creating a fun and joyful experience. As of late, Annie has taken on side hustles like making cotton candy art, pet sitting, hand embroidery, and working music festivals and concerts.
This unique mix of experience and skill affords Annie the unique opportunity of emceeing everything from wine tastings, game shows, contests, panel interviews, wedding receptions, and anything thrown her way.
